Do I have to stand still with the machine to weigh?

Lundamanjungby machine

No. Lundaman scales are fully dynamic - you can weigh while driving, regardless of engine speed. The system filters out vibrations and movements, so you can work at your normal pace and still get stable, repeatable readings.

How dynamic weighing works

  • Motion compensation: The scale handles speed variations, lifting speed and machine movements.
  • Speed independent: No link to specific engine speed required.
  • Live update: The values are stabilised directly in the display - even when loading in flow.

When are the dynamics at their best?

You don't have to stop, but these conditions provide the best precision:

  • Smooth lifting and travelling: Avoid sudden stops/pressures right during weighing.
  • Centred load: Place the material as centrally as possible in the bucket/tool.
  • Stable machine: Drive on a reasonably flat surface and avoid sharp side slopes during the actual weighing.
  • Temperature stability: Re-tare the machine when the temperature changes, for example after the first few runs of the day.

Tips for highest accuracy in operation

  • Reset regularly (tare) and clean the bucket from material residues.
  • Control route daily with known reference, or verify against driving scale.
  • Select the right tool in the display - ensure that the correct gear is selected.
  • Avoid off-centre loads and large gradients just when the value is taken.
